- Overview

In this course you will be creating simple objects in air dry clay, air dry clay needs no firing and can be modelled into many shapes and forms for decorative purposes. The clay cannot be used for food items, but can be effective in small trinket bowls, vases and many more 3D objects. This is a short course to introduce you to building with clay. It has many therapeutic properties and in this course you will create your own handmade ceramics. Initially clay will be provided, you will need to bring your own modelling materials and other materials suitable for this class.
This is a Community Learning Course with a focus on the teaching and learning of new skills. Learners need to be able to demonstrate, independently, an ability and willingness to participate in course activities.
