Option 1 Supporting the carers of children to be able to understand how to support them who may have been sexually abused. To strengthen carers knowledge, confidence and abilities to identify and support children suspected or known to have experienced sexual abuse.
Option 2 To equip carers with the knowledge, understanding, and practical guidance needed to confidently recognise and respond to signs of sexual abuse, understand barriers to disclosure, and facilitate safe, supportive conversations with children—recognising that children are most likely to communicate with adults they know and trust, not just those in formal safeguarding roles.
