Festival of Christmas

This free family event will bring the magic of Christmas to life with its enchanting ‘Christmas Dreams’ theme - promising dazzling performances, festive characters and exciting entertainment for all ages.

Meet Father Christmas, enjoy multi-sensory storytelling from Talking Birds and be amazed by Fire and Ice sculpture displays. Look out for the Snow Lion, Swan Pedalo and seven-foot singing robins, alongside the much-loved Spark illuminated drummers and the returning Snow Globe Fairy.

The festivities will take place across the city centre, including University Square, Cathedral Ruins, Upper Precinct, Broadgate, Smithford Way, Market Way and Hertford Street.
