Join us in recording as many wildlife species as possible for the City Nature Challenge! We'll be doing various species focused activities.

Join the Sherbourne Valley Project for a day of wildlife recording! We will use the iNaturalist app to record as many wildlife species as possible to put Coventry on the map for the international City Nature Challenge.

You don't need to have any experience to take part, although we are also hosting training sessions in the weeks prior so you can make yourself comfortable. You don't need to worry about knowing how to identify many species, we will have people on hand to help, and simply uploading a picture will still help us in the challenge! Downloading the iNaturalist app in advance is recommended to reduce your data usage.

We will have a gazebo located between the pond and the bridge going over the River Sherbourne, which will serve as a meeting hub for people joining us to participate.
