Good Neighbours matches people with likeminded interests & shared hobbies for free, bespoke friendship. This info event will share how we do so safely, for anyone interested in joining.
What is it like to volunteer as a befriender to a housebound older person in Coventry?
Befrienders are matched to isolated elderly people based on a wide range of interests. From cat owners or crochet queens to history enthusiasts or football fans...the possibilities are many! You don't need any qualifications to be a volunteer befriender. Everyone is welcome.
Just 30 mins per week or fortnight chatting about life and sharing what you have in common makes a huge difference.
Small children and dogs are also welcome to participate in befriending.
Come along to C3 Coffee Shop inside Cheylesmore Community Centre for 4.30pm on Wednesday 27 May.
