Adaptation and resilience Coventry grows logo

Join us for an exciting workshop hosted by Garden Organic, focusing on Building Healthy Soil. The sessions are being offered as part of our Coventry Grows project, funded by E.ON. Everyone is welcome.

Maintaining a healthy soil is essential in creating a healthy and productive growing space. With climate change bringing more extremes of weather, building resilience into your soil is more important than ever.

This session will look at what makes a healthy soil, how to test your soil, and the practical steps you can take to improve your soil including composting. There will also be plenty of opportunity to cover any specific questions you have. This session is delivered by Garden Organic, supported by Coventry City Council.

What we will cover:

  • Learn the importance of healthy soil
  • Learn how to assess your soil and work with it
  • Understand the benefits of compost and how to get started with composting
