At The Orchard community festival is taking place on Saturday 22nd August 1 - 5pm at The Peace Orchard in Coundon Hall Park Coventry.

Children and adults of all ages are invited to At The Orchard: Creatures & Critters, a free festival at The Peace Orchard, Coundon Hall Park, Coventry, on Saturday 22 August 2026, from 1pm to 5pm. The afternoon will bring together nature, creativity, wellbeing, music and good old-fashioned fun. Visitors can try forest bathing and body movement sessions, join bug hunts, visit the Bike Doctor, make bird boxes and a Bug Mansion, and enjoy nature drawing, storytelling and the Library of Things beneath the Turkey Tree. Creative activities will include willow creatures, apple sprites, flags, stars, magical apples, outdoor knitting, tree dressing and contributing to a giant picnic blanket. Children are encouraged to dress as their favourite creature and join the Orchard procession organised by Flawed Mandrake Theatre. There will be live music from The Trees and Drone Rangers, a food truck, coffee wagon, ice cream and a tombola. This is a dry festival, so no alcohol please. Bring a picnic and something to sit on.
