Join the Urban Rangers for a volunteer session at Longford Park - helping to maintain the large flower beds.
This session is open to adults and children (children must be supervised at all times by their parent/guardian). Whether you stay for the whole session or just pop by for a little while - every bit of help makes a real difference, and we’d love to have you involved! The activity involves weeding and edging the large flower beds situated within the park. Tools will be provided and no previous experience is necessary. Make sure to arrive in suitable clothing for working outdoors in all weather (e.g. layers, sturdy footwear, a sunhat and sun block). Parking is available from the Longford Road entrance to the park, and we will be meeting from 10am at the noticeboard near to the carpark. (what3words: ///dine.fields.cafe).
