Treatment of head and neck cancers causes significant impairment of breathing, speech, communication, chewing, swallowing, dryness of mouth, dental caries, mouth opening, taste, smell, nutrition, voice, neck and shoulder function, facial and neck oedema, and visible disfigurement.
By raising funds, world-class research will be supported with novel cutting-edge therapies that can also be adapted to a variety of cancers of skin, lung, prostate, ovaries and colon.
