The annual Festival of Christmas returns for an eclectic afternoon and evening of seasonal festive fun!
From roaming illuminated stilt-walking angels, through to icy puppet sprites and the amazing and mesmerising living Christmas snow globe, there are many sights and sounds to enjoy.
Meet Father Christmas in the Cathedral ruins with a series of storytelling events, accompanied by naughty elves, or see a Christmas fairy suspended from a 7m tall inflatable arch with aerial acrobatics, flame artists and beautifully choreographed fire dancing under the night sky. Throughout the evening you can also hear the talented musicians of the city, including the award-winning Impact Steel.
You might even see some speedy Christmas grannies!
This free family special event runs throughout the city centre and around the annual festive market and Big Wheel. Bring friends and family to enjoy the afternoon and evening and enjoy the food and drink vendors get yourself into the spirit of Christmas, a great start to the festive season!
