Under the Children and Families Bill 2013/14 and Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0-25 years 2015, Local Authorities are required to publish, and keep under review, information about services they expect to be available for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs. This is called the ‘Local Offer’. The intention of the Local Offer is to improve choice and transparency for families.
At CELC we are passionate about ensuring all pupils achieve their potential in all areas of life regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality, social background, religion, disabilities or educational needs. At CELC we ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, receive Quality First teaching. This enables them to make the best possible academic and social progress possible in a setting where they feel valued and respected.
The CELC ‘School Offer’ is intended to give you information about the ways we support all of our pupils, including those with special educational needs. It may not list every skill, resource or technique that we use as this list is in constant development.
