Fairer Coventry is a communications campaign to help us to explain how we are trying to improve lives and opportunities for everyone and at the same time reduce inequalities.

The amount of money our families have, their access to education and the conditions in which we live all affect our health and how much of our lives we live with good health.

That’s why delivering essential services is so important. It includes ensuring all forms of quality healthcare gets to all communities and helping to aid healthy lifestyles; helping ensure job opportunities are accessible to everyone; tackling violence and abuse; supporting families and children to give the best start in life; helping children and young people fulfil their educational potential – and closing the gap in educational performance for vulnerable children and young people; helping everyone to live independently – especially for vulnerable people and as people get older.

We are also working hard with our partners to improve housing standards and support those who face homelessness or become homeless.

To helps us achieve this we are lobbying for fairer funding for the city, continuing to be focused on addressing health inequalities, and that means helping our most disadvantaged communities enjoy a better environment to live in and accessing help with the cost of living.
