Coventry's Drug and Alcohol Harm Reduction Forum:

Coventry's drug and alcohol harm reduction forum aims to upskill local professionals in Coventry on how to support individuals who use substances and how to prevent future harms and deaths. The forum is facilitated by Coventry City Council Public Health Team alongside both commissioned drugs and alcohol services in the city, Change Grow Live and Positive Choices. The forum runs on the last Tuesday of each month with a different topic focus, which can be requested by professionals in Coventry. 

Drug and Alcohol Two Minute Guides 

Specialists have developed Coventry's drug and alcohol two-minute guides to ensure all professionals, parents and young people in the city have access to trusted information regarding drugs and alcohol. The purpose of these guides is to upskill the local workforce around the harms associated with substance use and enhance local knowledge regarding innovative harm reduction approaches.

Training available

Coventry's commissioned drug and alcohol services offer a wide range of sessions for professionals and agencies within the city who are interested in developing their drug and alcohol knowledge and awareness.

Change Grow Live - Coventry (Adults' Service)

Change Grow Live offer a mix of both online and face-to-face information and training sessions. All of the sessions provided are free of charge for professionals within Coventry. The service is also able to offer bespoke sessions to meet the specific needs of organisations.

Positive Choices Coventry - Change Grow Live (Children and Young People Service)

Positive Choices are available to discuss any bespoke training needs for professionals around substance use and can offer sessions either face-to-face or virtually.
