A pre-loved bike can be a great low-risk way of getting back into cycling. Second-hand bikes are also a great option for young children, who can grow out of bikes as quickly as they do their clothes and shoes.
If you are buying a used bike from a private seller, you may want to check if it's stolen using CycleSite's checking service which also has a valuation tool to help give you confidence that you are paying a fair price.
