This is the only forum where all 54 Councillors meet together and have the opportunity for political debate on issues of importance to the City Council and make major decisions about policies and services.
It provides a showcase for the City and the City Council for example, Coventry Good Citizen; debates on topical issues; and questions and can provide the opportunity for promoting the importance of democracy and accountability by being the setting for challenge of Leader and Cabinet Members; presenting of petitions etc.
The meeting is chaired by the Lord Mayor.
