Coventry’s very own discount scheme, Go CV, is due to hit 100,000 members during the week of Sports Fest from 25 – 30 July.
Go CV will be celebrating this milestone with an afternoon of demonstrations, sports, activities and prize giveaways.
Just like Sports Fest, the celebration is free to enjoy and is open to all Coventry residents as a thank you for being a member.
Residents can expect to enjoy some Go CV goodies and sweet treats, face painting, showcase sessions from Go CV partners including a fitness class along with loads of prizes to be won from Go CV local businesses.
The Go CV celebration will take place in Broadgate on Saturday 29 July from 12 noon to 1.30pm.
Cllr Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport, said: “Our Go CV celebration is going to be great. I’m really looking forward to seeing residents at Sports Fest during the takeover session to celebrate this fantastic milestone.
“100,000 residents are all benefiting from discounts at Coventry events and destination facilities, giveaways and exclusive news and updates completely free of charge. We have recently launched our Go CV app too where there are more than 85 discounts and offers on local businesses and attractions.
“We are so proud of how Go CV has grown over the last few years, but we’re also delighted that we can continue to give residents access to this platform. I look forward to seeing Go CV grow and being able to give even more to the people of Coventry.”
The Go CV card is a free scheme for all Coventry residents. Residents benefit from offers and discounts on events, activities, local businesses and attractions including free entry to Coventry Transport Museum and discounted entry to The Wave. Even greater savings are available for those who qualify for Go CV+.
Sports Fest will take place from Tuesday 25 – Sunday 30 July.
