Tickets for Coventry's 25th Godiva Festival are set to go on sale at 9am on Friday 1 March.
The line-up for the festival, which takes place in the city's War Memorial Park from Friday 5 – Sunday 7 July, will be revealed from Monday 26 February. The majority of Main Stage acts will be announced before tickets are available to buy.
20,000 Early Bird tickets will be available to buy before ticket prices gradually rise through a number of tiers as more tickets are sold. This means tickets to this year's festival can be bought for as little as £26 for a Standard Weekend Ticket and £79 for a Family Weekend Ticket which covers two adults and two children at Early Bird prices. Ticket prices can be found on the Godiva Festival ticket prices webpage.
Festival goers will have the chance to pay for any Family Tickets via a payment plan. The payment plan is interest free and consists of two payments, one month apart, to cover the cost of the ticket.
For the first time ever, a super concession rate ticket will be available exclusively for validated Go CV+ members to purchase. The Go CV+ Super Concession Weekend Ticket will be available for just £15.50 in the Early Bird category before gradually increasing once Early Bird tickets have sold out. Go CV+ Super Concession Day Tickets cost £6.50 for a Friday ticket, £7 for Saturday and just £4 to attend on Sunday when bought at Early Bird prices. Go CV+ members can buy a maximum of four tickets per person at super concession prices.
Those eligible for Go CV+ must live in Coventry and either be in receipt of a qualifying benefit, a carer registered with Carers Trust Heart of England, a Coventry City Council foster carer, a student with an NUS card, a young person aged 16 – 19 years old in fulltime education or a resident with asylum seeker status. Deputy Leader of Coventry City Council and Cabinet Member for Events, Councillor Abdul Salam Khan, said: "We are delighted to announce that Godiva Festival tickets will soon be on sale for what will be a spectacular 25th festival.
"We know fans of Godiva Festival are always eager to find out about the line-up, so we will be announcing our headliners, plus other acts, ahead of tickets going on sale.
"We've worked hard to ensure prices are kept as affordable as possible for both day and weekend tickets. Whilst some ticket price categories have increased, we have introduced a new offer for Go CV+ members to take advantage of.
"We know that Godiva Festival is the main highlight of Coventry's event calendar. It's loved by thousands of residents and is getting more and more popular with fans outside of the city too."
Councillor Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport, added: "For the first time ever we're delighted to be able to give Go CV+ members exclusive ticket prices for Godiva Festival.
"I'd urge any existing Go CV+ members who are interested in purchasing tickets to ensure their accounts are validated ahead of tickets going on sale. Members with unvalidated accounts will not be able to purchase tickets at these fantastic rates.
"If you are a Coventry resident who meets the Go CV+ criteria but are not yet a member of the scheme, you're able to sign up for free via the Go CV website and validate your account before tickets are available to buy.
"This is a fantastic offer and I encourage those who are eligible to take advantage of it."
The Premium Zone will be making a return for 2024 after being introduced last year. The exclusive area gives festival-goers access to a premium private area, enhanced bar, fast track entry, access to private toilets and much more.
Godiva Festival is known across the region for its diverse line-up. In addition to live music, the festival will feature food stalls, exhibitions, and family-friendly activities, making it the perfect summer outing for the whole family.
