New location for Customer Service Centre

The Council’s Customer Services has moved into the Central Library where local people can get even more services in one central and convenient location.

Opening Hours

• Customer Service Centre: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (except Tuesdays, 10:00am – 5:00pm)
• Central Library: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 7:00pm | Saturday, 9:00am – 4:30pm | Sunday, 12:00 noon – 4:00pm

Customer Services deal with a wide range of public enquiries, including support with Community Support applications, as well as initial enquiries about Council Tax and Housing Benefits. The team also acts as the first point of contact for many other council services, such as Highways, Waste Services, Pest Control, Public Safety, and Housing/Homelessness support.

Our Meet and Greet Team will continue to assist residents in accessing services through our computer suite and telephones.

In addition, payment kiosks have been installed so that residents can pay for a variety of council services quickly and conveniently.

Regular library visitors will continue to be able to access the super facilities on offer at the venue.
