Free and designed for anyone who lives in Coventry, the Go CV scheme offers access to discounts on everything from leisure and fitness to music lessons, cultural events, and local shopping.
For those who meet additional eligibility criteria such as carers, students, and people receiving certain benefits, an increased level of discount, Go CV+, can be accessed.
Go CV is quickly becoming one of the city’s most successful community initiatives. It sees the Council work closely with partners across the city to benefit both residents and local businesses alike.
Currently Go CV has more than 125,000 members, all saving money and discovering more of their city through discounts and exclusive competitions.
The scheme is simple to join and use. Residents can sign up online or in person and receive either a physical card or access the virtual card via the Go CV app. Once validated, they can start using their card at participating venues and businesses across the city.
Current offers include freebies at Subway, discounted music lessons through Coventry Music for Go CV+ members, and free pregnancy scan photographs at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire and discounted sessions at The Wave waterpark. Plus, there are savings on offer at CV Life leisure centres, including reduced membership prices, swim school fees, and fitness class access.
The scheme works with lots of local businesses and partners and continues to grow, adding more offers and businesses each month.
The benefits of Go CV don’t end with residents. The scheme also creates opportunities for Coventry’s small businesses, independent venues, and service providers. By becoming a Go CV partner, local businesses can promote exclusive offers to a large and engaged local audience.
Businesses can register directly through the Go CV website, where they can manage their profile, create tailored offers, and track customer engagement. The platform is designed for businesses of all sizes.
