Harry Byrne has been presented with a Good Citizen Award by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, Councillor Rachel Lancaster, in recognition for outstanding service to young people and the wider community.
Harry is an inspirational mentor and coach, helping to give other young people a brighter future by using outdoor education and nature-based activities to inspire confidence and hope.
Harry himself faced the sudden loss of his mother when he was aged 11 and his life began to unravel as he stopped attending school, spent less and less time at home and eventually, started heading down the wrong path where he battled addiction and homelessness.
His achievements have been recognised nationally with the King’s Trust Young Achiever Award and the Pride of Britain King’s Trust Young Achiever title in 2025, reflecting the depth of his impact and integrity.
