Local people who are in contact with or affected by local adult social care services are being invited to take part in an Adult Social Care Survey 2025–26.

The national statutory survey, developed by the Care Quality Commission and the Department of Health and Social Care. Every Local Authority in England with social care responsibilities must take part.

The survey helps the Council to understand:

  • the quality of life of people who use Council adult social care services
  • the impact this support has on the health and wellbeing of residents.

Coventry City Council will be sending 3,000 anonymous postal questionnaires between this January and March 2026 to a sample of people who use our services. Responses are confidential and will not affect the support or services people receive.

Why does this matter?

  • Results feed into national official statistics and the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF)
  • They inform policy and decision-making at local and national levels
  • Most importantly, they help us improve services for the people of Coventry

How you can help:

Whether you use local care services or you’re an unpaid carers, please take a few minutes to complete the survey if you receive it.

This feedback is vital in helping shape future services. Responses are anonymous and confidential.
