Meet Michael whose life was transformed by our Family Hubs.
Earlier in his life, Michael's son was taken into care. This marked a major changing point for Michael and our Family Hubs were instrumental in his journey towards healing and improvement.
Over the following months, Michael embarked on several parenting programmes, including the six-week Nurturing Course at Harmony Hub. Our Family Hub colleagues worked closely with Michael to help him develop the skills he needed and provided him with a support system.
We're delighted to say that Michael's son has been back home with him and his partner for well over a year. Beyond that, Michael is now one of our Parent Champions, using his experience to advocate for parents and effect change.
Michael is just one parent who has received support from our Family Hubs. Last year, over 60,000 people visited a Hub. Our Family Hubs are just one way in which we stand alongside residents through life’s toughest challenges.
