A new national commission is seeking to understand people’s views of Adult Social Care.

The Government has asked Baroness Casey to lead a review of Adult Social Care. As part of this work, the Casey Commission has launched its Big Conversation on Adult Social Care, inviting people across the country to share their views on the future of care and support.

The feedback received will help shape recommendations to Government and could influence the future of Adult Social Care services across the country.

Residents, organisations and professionals from across the UK are already taking part and a leading councillor is calling on Coventry to make sure its voice is heard too.

Cllr Linda Bigham, Cabinet Member for Adult Services, said: “As a Council, we get to see firsthand the transformative impact that Adult Social Care has on our resident’s lives. We also get to see hear the passion of our residents when it comes to these services

“That’s why I’d like to encourage everyone to take part in this consultation.  By sharing your thoughts, we can help ensure that the experiences, ideas and priorities of people in Coventry are part of the national conversation.

“Sharing your thoughts is as simple as completing a questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes to complete but it could help change people’s lives.”

The consultation closes this month so time is running out to have your say.
