Families from across Coventry have been learning about the help and support available at the touch of a button.
An information event was held by the City Council this week to show people the Coventry Families Portal and to help them log on and see the services available to them and their children.
The Portal is there to make a difference to the people of Coventry.
It includes a range of information, including events and activities at the Best Start Family Hubs, school holiday activities and support, information on education and advice on pregnancy.
There is also health advice, financial, family and housing support, help for those suffering domestic abuse and much more.
The relaunch event at the Salvation Army base in Upper Well Street saw a number of activities for families and children, including a digital treasure hunt, crafts and games.
It also gave people the chance to talk to workers at the Family Hubs and other professionals to see what support was right for them.
Cllr Mal Mutton, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Coventry City Council, said: “The Coventry Families Portal is a fantastic resource, giving people easy, instant access to advice and support on a wide range of issues around family life.
“It is already a go-to site for many, and this event helped us to spread the word a little further and remind people that they are not alone and that there is expert help available when they need it – for them and their loved ones.
“I would urge anyone who not yet logged on to visit the site – it really can make such a difference.”
