Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Coventry, in exercise of its powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), intends to dispose by way of a 15-year lease of an area of land measuring approximately 1,125 sq. metres within Longford Park, Coventry, for padel courts.

The plan showing the area of land may be inspected at the Reception Desk at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR during normal office hours, or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to culturesportsandevents@coventry.gov.uk


 

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Coventry, in exercise of their powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) and sections 117-121 of the Charities Act 2011, as interpreted by Charity Commission guidance CC28 intends to dispose by way of a 15-year lease of an area of land measuring approximately 1,611 sq. metres within War Memorial Park Coventry for padel courts.

The land is currently held for charitable purposes and comprises open space.

The plan showing the area of land may be inspected at the Reception Desk at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR during normal office hours, or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to culturesportsandevents@coventry.gov.uk

 

Any objections to the intended disposals by way of lease must be made in writing and addressed to Fiona Parkins, Strategic Project Manager, Capital and Governance Regeneration & Economy Directorate, PO Box 7097, Coventry CV6 9SL or by email to fiona.parkins@coventry.gov.uk, stating the reasons for such objections, by no later than 12 January 2026.

TAKE NOTICE that THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COVENTRY, in exercise of its powers under:

  • Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, and
  • Section 117–121 of the Charities Act 2011, as interpreted by Charity Commission guidance CC28,

intends to dispose of a piece of land at Earlsdon Avenue South, Coventry, being the site of the former Wisteria Lodge by way of freehold disposal.

The area which is proposed to be sold comprises approximately 1.22 acres in size.

The land is currently held for charitable purposes and comprises open space. The Council proposes to dispose of the land for development purposes.

A plan showing the location of the intended disposal can be inspected at the Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR (Room CH18) during normal office hours.
