Search for, view, and comment on planning applications 

When registering for an account, do not search for your address using the link provided as this is not working correctly. Please use the 'Can't find your address and need to add it manually?' link underneath the address search button.

We are working with our supplier to resolve the issue as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

We publish planning applications on the council's online planning system. You can view applications without an account but if you wish to comment on applications you will need to sign in or register for a LAR account. 

Historic files 

If you are unable to locate a document in our online system please submit a Freedom of Information request 

Additional information 

Information available via the planning website is not a full history of any site and it should not be regarded as an alternative to a formal land charge search.

Plans, drawings and other material submitted to the local authority are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (section 47). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner. 

Troubleshooting 

If you are having difficulties with viewing documents, logging in, or registering, it is sometimes a problem with your internet connection, or an outdated browser.  We recommend using Chrome or Firefox to access the site.
