Gully cleansing schedule 2025 to 2026
To ensure proper drainage and reduce the risk of flooding, Coventry City Council is implementing an improved, smarter gully-cleaning schedule. This approach prioritises the areas that need it most, based on data and past maintenance records.
A further £150,000 has been allocated to support this effort, funding the cleaning of the city’s 50,000 gullies. This targeted work will focus on clearing blockages, helping to protect homes and streets from flooding in the autumn and winter.
