Wheelchair viewing platforms
We want everyone to be part of this. Two raised viewing platforms are available for up to 50 registered wheelchair users, each with their Personal Assistant.
To book a platform space, call 024 7699 1987 (Option 1) or email TicketOffice@ccfc.co.uk. On the day, head to the Access Support Hub in the welfare tent to collect your wristbands before making your way to the platform.
Personal Assistants attend free of charge, in line with our standard Coventry City Football Club’s disabled supporters' policy. You and your PA must enter together. Book your PA ticket alongside your own through the ticketing page - more info at our Disabled Supporters' page: Disabled Supporters - Coventry City Football Club.
Blue Badge accessible parking
Blue Badge accessible parking is available off Kenilworth Road, free of charge, but must be pre-booked at www.eticketing.co.uk/ccfc at the time of purchasing your tickets.
Access Support Hub/Team
There is an Access Support Hub and an Access Support Team at the event to help you if you need any support.
The team will be in yellow and purple vests that say "Access Support Team", positioned near the entrance gates, on the viewing platform and at the Access Hub next to the first aid post.
The Access Hub will have an area for charging mobility scooters or wheelchairs and an area for those needing rest or privacy.
Priority lane
We understand that queuing can be difficult for some. To make your arrival on-site easier, we have priority lanes for Access users, for use by you and your Personal Assistant. These are located at each entrance point, with welfare staff in attendance.
Medication
You can bring medication with you but please make sure that the Access Support team members and event security on the gate is aware of it on entry to the event.
Seating
Please be aware that, as we expect to be at full capacity for this event, no camping chairs will be allowed into the event. For those in need on the day, additional support can be provided via the Access Support Hub.
Assistance dogs
We welcome assistance dogs to this event. The only dogs allowed on site are assistance dogs.
High Dependency Unit (HDU)
We have an HDU on site, which can be accessed upon request. It will be located in a secure area accessed from the Welfare marquee. Please ask a member of the Access Support Team, Welfare Team or a steward for assistance.
Accessible toilets
There are accessible toilets at each toilet location and near the accessible viewing platforms.
Electric scooters and wheelchairs
We Are Back: Live takes place in War Memorial Park. The Park is a truly stunning location, but we recognise that its large size and uneven surfaces can present a challenge to some of our visitors, particularly in the event of rain, where the grass can become slippery or muddy. We would recommend that if you have mobility issues, you consider either booking an electric scooter/wheelchair to use, or bring your own with you on the day.
We work closely with our partners Concord Mobility, to provide a number of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for use at the event. In order to secure your mobility aid, please send an email to: info@concordmobility.co.uk and put the word "COVENTRYFC" in the subject. Concord will be able to take your details for a reserved scooter or chair. These will be available to pick up at the Event Mobility Unit located next to the Visitor Centre, which is adjacent to the accessible car park.
Remember to bring two forms of ID (at least one must be a photo ID and at least one must have your current address) when you collect your scooter or chair. We suggest you book now to ensure you get a mobility aid as the number of unreserved scooters available on the day may be limited, and it will be first come/first served. Scooters and wheelchairs can be picked up from Concord Mobility close to the admission point near the Visitor Centre and Ticket Enquiry Office in the park. You will be asked to leave a name and contact number as well as sign the conditions of hire.
BSL interpreters
British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters will be positioned at the stage for the duration of the event with interpretation relayed to our large screens on site.
