Cycle training for adults (16+)
Free cycle training for adults (16+) is available if you live work or study in Coventry, where you can learn to ride, develop your skills away from traffic or build your confidence riding on the road.

- Learn to Ride – I have little or no experience and would like to learn to ride in a traffic-free environment.
- Cycle Skills - I can already ride a bike and would like to develop my confidence in a traffic-free environment.
- On road training - I can already ride and control a bike and would like to develop skills and confidence riding on the road. .
Booking online is essential for all sessions and you should bring a roadworthy bike and helmet if you have one. Bikes and helmets can be provided for the session.
You will receive an automatic email if your booking is successful.

Cycling with Confidence Course
Develop your cycling confidence on Parkride's accessible bikes and trikes for all ages and abilities. Free indoor sessions take place at 12.15pm and 1.45pm on Mondays at Centre AT7.

Wheels 4 All Family Sessions
The popular adaptive cycling sessions at Centre AT7 are suitable for the whole family and will begin indoors with a range of adaptive bikes suitable for all ages and abilities.
Sessions are from 11:00am to 1:00pm on selected Sundays every month.
Cycle training for children
Learn to Ride
Free Learn to Ride sessions for children age 4-15 take place during school holidays and at other times as part of events.
The 45 minute group session is aimed at children with little or no cycling experience who would like to learn to ride. The session takes place outdoors and a parent or guardian must remain present.
Booking online is essential and is limited to one session per child. Bikes and helmets are provided.
When all the sessions are full the booking system will say "There are currently no events available for this type". Sign up for the cycle newsletter to be first to hear when the next holiday sessions are available to book

There isn't a waiting list, but if somebody cancels their place it will be available to book online.
Bikeability is the modern version of cycling proficiency for children and is delivered in primary schools by our cycle training team. Contact your school office to check if they are taking part this year.
