Emma Barber – Educational Psychologist I joined Coventry’s Educational Psychology team in 2023. Prior to this, I worked as a secondary school teacher and special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCo). My professional and research interests include anti-oppressive practice, anti-racist practice and allyship. I am currently co-facilitating the Allyship group within Coventry City Council and I am working with colleagues to develop practice across a range of settings and contexts. |

Emmie-Louise Tirapani – Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist (Cognition & Learning) I qualified as an EP in 2011 and have worked for Coventry Educational Psychology Team since 2015. I have previously worked as a residential support worker in a children’s home and as an assistant educational psychologist. I also volunteered for an NGO in Zimbabwe providing educational programmes and have volunteered as a learning support assistant in a primary school. My professional interests include complex special educational needs, supporting pupils with down syndrome, supervision for colleagues and school staff and gathering and listening to parental voices. |

It has been a pleasure contributing to numerous working groups and publications including Ethical Trading, Leadership for Educational Psychologists and the Medicalisation of Childhood. |
