Event rules
Access
Admission to the event site will only be authorised upon representation of a valid ticket and proof of photographic identity may be required at time of entry. One ticket will be required for each person, regardless of age.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (21+). Proof of identity may be requested. A maximum number of 2 persons under the age of 18 will be allowed entry with each adult (21+). Under 18s must enter at the same time as accompanying adult.
Opening, closing and last entry times are as follows:
- Monday 4 May 1pm – 7pm (last entry 3pm)
We ask supporters are patient as there may be increased waiting times during busy periods.
There will be no re-entry permitted. Persons leaving the event before it concludes will be advised that there is no re-entry.
Each ticket holder will be subject to search upon entry by licensed security personnel. Metal detecting wands are in use as part of the search regime at the entry point.
Under 18s found to be in possession of a non-disposable vape will have this removed. Those 18 and over in possession of a non-disposable vape will be ID checked if suspected to be under 18 and the vape confiscated if there is no proof of age.
If you are bringing any medication with you, please notify security at the gates.
ID
Proof of photographic identity may be required upon entry.

We accept the following proof of ID:
- Passport
- Driving licence or official ID that contain the PASS logo
- We do not accept online ID apps such as Yoti or photos or photocopies of ID.
Prohibited items
Please do NOT bring the following items to the We Are Back: Live site. They will be confiscated, and you may be refused entry or ejected from the site if you are found to have them in your possession:
- Fireworks or flares
- Glass items (including bottles, makeup containers and perfume)
- Umbrellas over 30cm in size
- Disposable vapes
- Aerosols (including but not restricted to deodorants, antiperspirants, hairspray, dry shampoo, spray paint)
- Alcohol
- Drinks (bottles of baby milk and one 500ml bottle of sealed, unopened water will be accepted per person. Free water refills available onsite)
- Drones, quadcopters or any remote-controlled flying device
- Illegal substances, psychoactive substances, nitrous oxide and legal highs
- Smoke bombs, flag sticks or banners
- Megaphones, airhorns, compressed air
- Chinese lanterns
- Candles
- Sound systems
- Generators
- Animals, with the exception of guide dogs
- Portable laser equipment and pens
- Unofficial high vis jackets or tabards
- Portable or disposable barbeques/gas/paraffin lamps or any fire/gas related cooking equipment
- Signs or materials displaying political, religious, offensive or race-related messages, slogans or images
- Anything that could be reasonably considered for use as a weapon
- Professional camera or video recording equipment (including SLRs and anything with a detachable lens)
- Any objects bearing trademarks or other kinds of promotional signs and messages (of whatever nature) which we or any authorised person believes are for promotional purposes (and any Prohibited Items may be removed, confiscated and/or destroyed even if the item itself is not illegal without compensation at the discretion of any authorised person)
- Face coverings (except medical masks or religious headwear)
Bags
One bag per person is permitted, but it must be no bigger than A4 size. Larger bags will be permitted in special circumstances e.g for parents with young children. This will be at the discretion of the festival management team. There are no storage facilities for bags on-site.
Food and camping chairs
Attendees are allowed to bring food on site but this must be in a bag that is not bigger than A4 in size. One bag per person is allowed.
Camping chairs are not permitted.
Dogs
Animals are NOT permitted within the festival site. The festival environment is not suitable for animals due to crowded space, loud noise, pyrotechnics, flashing lights etc. Please do not bring your animals to the event, if you do you will be refused entry. Only registered, qualified and trained guide dogs are permitted on site. Other kinds of assistance dogs MAY be considered depending on circumstance. If you need to bring an assistance dog to the event, you must contact us in advance.
Event photography and filming
By attending We Are Back: Live, you give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by the police or security staff, which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.
Drones
There is a no-fly zone above the War Memorial Park. No public drones are permitted - any remote-controlled aerial device will be brought down and confiscated.
