How can people get independent travel training?
Young people
There are three ways that young people may be referred to our service:
- Young people, 12-19 years old attending SEN schools please contact your school directly.
- Young people over 16 with special educational needs but not attending SEN schools via your Careers Advisor or SEN Team (phone: 024 7683 1614).
- Young people over 16 with special educational needs attending college, speak to your College or Careers Advisor.
Adults
Adults aged 18-65 can be referred directly to the Independent Travel Team (ITT) via the following:
- All Age Disability Team
- Mental Health Services
- Adult Social Care
- Agencies funded by the Coventry City Council
