How do I work at the election?

We need you to work at the election

We employ hundreds of staff at election time to make sure that the process is run smoothly, in an open and transparent way.

Each year we have vacancies for a range of roles:

  • Delivering polling cards door to door
  • Working in a polling station
  • Spending 2/3 days opening and sorting postal votes
  • Counting votes overnight at the Ricoh Arena

To work for us - you need to sign up to our database. We'll then contact you to set up an online account, and contact you ahead of the elections.

To find out more about what working at the election count is like - we always take a lot of photos! Check out our Flickr photos.
