Display Screen Assessor training

This 2-hour course aims to provide those tasked with assisting others with additional levels of knowledge and confidence in order they can provide positive support to their colleagues. Delegates will also familiarise themselves with the City Council's overall assessment procedure.

Target group

Employees identified as DSE assessors.

  • Have a basic understanding of legislative requirements
  • Understand each individual’s responsibilities
  • Understand what comprises a workstation and how to set-up the equipment
  • Gain a knowledge of the overall assessment process

  • The City Council's assessment process
  • Current legislation and guidance notes
  • Standard equipment and means of adjustment
  • Ongoing Occupational Health procedures
