Walking Wheeling and Cycling in Coventry

Coventry's Transport Strategy identified walking, wheeling and cycling as important tools to achieve some of the council's wider corporate objectives.  To give a clearer picture of how these objectives can be achieved, we are developing a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).  The LCWIP will be a daughter document of the main Transport Strategy, and will identify in more detail where new cycle routes and improvements for pedestrians will be delivered in the city, and what priorities are most important to consider.

The LCWIP will be a live document, updated from time-to-time in response to changes in policy, new developments or evolving priorities. The LCWIP will help us obtain funding from government, developers and other funding partners.

Let's Talk Walking Wheeling Cycling

To help us develop the plan, we are asking the people of Coventry about their existing activity and preferences, and what barriers they face when walking, wheeling or cycling.  This survey will be open until 8 March 2026Click here to have your say.  Your responses will help inform future priorities.
