LCWIP Overview
Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan
Coventry's Transport Strategy [https://www.coventry.gov.uk/transport-strategy-2/transport-strategy] identified cycling and walking as a key priority to achieve some of the council's wider corporate objectives. Our Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) will be a daughter document of the main Transport Strategy, and will identify in more detail where new cycle routes and improvements for pedestrians will be delivered in the city.
The LCWIP is a live document, and will be updated from time-to-time in response to changes in policy, new developments or emerging priorities. The LCWIP will help us obtain funding from government, developers and other funding partners.
