A pothole is where the surface of the road has been worn away, making a hollow. Potholes can form quickly and are a hazard to the public highway.
We investigate all reports of potholes. How quickly the work is carried out depends on how much of a danger the pothole is to road users. This is difficult to judge as all potholes present some risk.
