For Post 16/19 students (those students moving into Year 12 and above), a new application will be uploaded at the end of May 2026. The current Post 16/19 applications online are for this current academic year only.
Please do not apply until 1 June onwards for Post 16/19 students using the new form that will be available from this date.
If the current Post 16/19 application is submitted for travel assistance from September 2026 onwards, this will be automatically deleted.
The new Post 16 seat contribution charge for the next academic year is £888, reduced to £444 on receipt of qualifying benefits (for households whose income is £7400 or less, including carer’s allowance).
The application window for statutory school age children (up to and including Year 11) will remain the same from 1 March to 31 May 2026.
You can use the current statutory school age application form from 1 March 2026 with the date that school starts in September clearly written on the application where prompted.
