Adult education

Supporting you during COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

November updates

Autumn Term has seen the Coventry Adult Education programme move from classroom courses back to online courses when Lockdown 2 was announced. Our wonderful staff are still working tremendously hard creating online courses so if you want to update your skills or you are looking for inspiration to learn something new we are here to help you learn enjoy and succeed. We are now planning for the Spring term and if all goes to plan we will return to offer courses in a reduced amount of venues with smaller classes in January where we will be following COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. Look out for the Choice magazine or view the Spring Term programme.

We will be following the Government guidelines regarding opening of venues so will update our website and our Facebook page if our plans need to change.

We recognise that a lot of people are worried about how COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is affecting their lives now and what the longer term impact will be for them and their families. Maintaining our health and well-being is more important than ever and our friendly and experienced team are here to support you.

The Adult Education Service have courses to help you:

  • feel less isolated, help you maintain your health and wellbeing, build confidence and connect with other people.
  • help you develop the skills to get the most out of using the internet, setting up email accounts and using basic software such as Microsoft Teams to have virtual discussions or job search.
  • bring out your creative side through our various arts and crafts courses.
  • develop your vocational skills and gain qualifications to help you get a job, develop in your current role or move into a totally different area of work.
