Brown-lidded garden waste bin collections
If you have subscribed to brown-lidded bin collections, collections will pause from Monday 8 December until Monday, 12 January (inclusive). Collections will start again from Tuesday 13 January 2026, depending on your scheduled collection day.
You need a garden waste collection permit if you would like your garden waste bin collected. A permit covers you from 1 June to 31 May each year.
If you purchased a garden waste collection permit for 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025 and would like to purchase a permit for 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026, you can do this online or register for the first time.

Once you have subscribed, you can use this same online form to buy additional permits, tell us if you are moving, tell us about any permit issues, cancel your subscription (within the 14-day cooling off period) and sign up to receive email/text notifications
