BID ballot
A ballot has been undertaken to give eligible business ratepayers the option to vote yes or no for the proposal of the formation of a Business Improvement District (BID) for Coventry city centre.
The vote was a postal ballot; the Coventry city centre BID ballot was conducted by Electoral Reform Services who are based in London, on behalf of Coventry City Council.
Business ratepayers were entitled to vote if they were listed as a non-domestic ratepayer on the date that the notice of the ballot was sent and their rateable value was £16,000 or more. Those entitled to vote were sent a ballot paper on 15 January 2018.
