SHDF Wave 2.1
Following on from the success of Wave 1, Coventry City Council again teamed up with Citizen Housing to bid from the second wave of the SHDF. The partnership successfully bid for over £23 million of funding to support Citizen Housing’s plans to improve the energy efficiency of a further 2000 homes across different areas of Coventry.
The current scheme will run until September 2025 and will provide energy efficiency measures including external wall insulation, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and new windows and doors.
It is hoped the scheme will help to:
- lower resident's energy consumption
- improve the thermal efficiency and comfort of resident's homes
- reduce the City's domestic carbon emissions
- and reduce levels of fuel poverty
Citizen Housing will be contacting residents eligible for this scheme directly.
