Christmas and New Year Library opening times

Tuesday 23 December:

• all Libraries open as normal

Wednesday 24 December:

• Central Library open 9am to 5pm
• Holbrooks Library open 8.30am to 3.45pm

Thursday 25 December to Thursday 1 January:

• all Libraries are closed

Friday 2 January 2026:

• Hillfields Library closed
• all other libraries open as normal

For the Christmas opening hours of Community Run Libraries: Cheylesmore, Earlsdon and Finham, please refer to their websites.

During the closure period you will still be able to access our full range of online resources, such as e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, online newspapers and automated item renewals on the Coventry Libraries website.

Coundon Library - new location

Coundon Library has a new building 5 minutes walk away at Coundon Family Centre. The newly refurbished venue has all the same great services for local residents of all ages. 

Our new address is Coundon Family Centre, 82 Moseley Avenue, Coventry, CV6 1AB

New opening hours: 

• Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm 
• Saturday: 10am to 4pm 
• Wednesday and Sunday: closed

Bell Green Library - new location

Bell Green Library has moved to Park Edge Community Hub, Roseberry Avenue, Coventry CV2 1NE. The newly refurbished venue will have all the same great services for local residents of all ages. 

Opening hours: 

• Monday to Friday: 9am to 7pm 
• Saturday: 9am to 4pm 
• Wednesday and Sunday: closed
