We offer incentives to landlords who are able to offer their properties as part of a 12 month AST.
As part of the projects we are working on in the Homeless team, we are aiming to work with Landlords who can provide HMOs and self-contained properties looking to achieve rental amounts which are in line with the Local Housing Allowance.
The project aims to house single individuals who present to the Council with a Housing Need however have not been assessed as having a priority need and therefore do not meet requirements to be housed within our Temporary Accommodation. Consequently, this means they are faced with rough sleeping. The cohort of referrals sent through these projects are assessed as individuals who would likely be able to sustain a private rented tenancy. However, we do have a member of staff on hand who is able to offer some customers more one-to-one support when a customer is moving into their new accommodation.
