Love Cov celebrates all of the reasons we love our city. Through Love Cov, we aim to bring people together by highlighting the communities, places and stories that make Coventry unique.
The Love Cov logo features a heart and an elephant - symbols of love and the city’s strength. Coventry’s civic crest shows an elephant carrying the original castle which represents the resilience of its people.
The iconic elephant is seen across the city and appears in surprising places, from the stained-glass windows in Holy Trinity Church to the logo on popular bar and restaurant, Cosy Club and even on the badges of our football and rugby clubs.
Love where you live
We want to hear from you on why you love where you live! Is it that lovely local park you visit, perhaps the wonderful family hubs and libraries that support and bring local people together, or is it community events and activities that offer such fun and enjoyment to many?
Coventry has always been a friendly and welcoming city. As a Council, we play an active role in providing and supporting so many services and places that bring people together that makes such a difference to community life and celebrates what makes Coventry a great city.
Tell us why you love where you live
Coventry is a community of voices, cultures, and strength, and you’re an important part of it.
We are proud that we are a place full of pride, resilience, and people who look out for one another. The Council wants to celebrate that pride and its people by celebrating local examples in neighbourhoods and areas, so everyone can feel proud of where they live.
Could it be the quiet yet fierce pride we all share for our city and its remarkable journey through the years?
Whatever it is, we’d love to hear why you love Coventry – tell us or share your story at communications@coventry.gov.uk
