Pride in Place programme
Coventry has been awarded funding through the Government's national Pride in Place Programme, a long-term investment in communities across the UK.
Three Coventry neighbourhoods - Willenhall, Tile Hill and Hillfields - have each secured £20 million of investment over the next ten years, bringing a total of £60 million into the city.
The programme is about more than physical improvements. It's designed to strengthen local pride, improve neighbourhoods, and give residents a greater say in decisions that affect where they live. Each area will develop its own ten-year plan, shaped by the people who live and work there, working alongside a local Neighbourhood Board, the Council and the area's MP.
Willenhall
Willenhall was the first Coventry neighbourhood to be awarded Pride in Place funding, in September 2025. The area is working with Mary Creagh, MP for Coventry East, to establish a Neighbourhood Board and develop a long-term plan for the area, shaped by local residents.
Tile Hill
Tile Hill was awarded Pride in Place funding in March 2026. The area is working with Taiwo Owatemi, MP for Coventry North West, to establish a Neighbourhood Board and develop a long-term plan for the area.
A Chair has been appointed to the Tile Hill Pride in Place Board.

Hillfields
Hillfields was awarded Pride in Place funding in March 2026. The area is working with Zarah Sultana, MP for Coventry South, to establish a Neighbourhood Board and develop a long-term plan for the area.
