We are only offering a telephone service to register a death.

We are unable to deliver the following services to customers:

  • Re-registrations
  • Birth registrations (You can now make a claim for Child Benefit or Universal Credit prior to the birth being registered)
  • Ceremonies
  • Corrections (unless an emergency, for example stopping a funeral taking place)
  • Notice of marriage appointments
  • Change of name deeds
  • Copy certificates – by post only, however, postal charges waived
  • Preliminary appointments
