The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) announced a grant, the Household Support Fund (HSF) to cover from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. This fund is designed to be used to support households in the most need due to financial hardship. particularly those who may not qualify for other types of government support. Applications for support closed on Thursday 28 March at 2pm as the present HSF Grant ended. Information about the next Household Support Fund offer will be available towards the end of April 2024.
We are developing the fund for the next 6 months and will reopen the application process in the near future. If you have already applied and we are waiting for you to send evidence to us, any awards are likely to be delayed until the next scheme opens. Support with food can be provided whilst we are developing our next offer.

Please note that all required evidence must be provided within 3 working days - we are unable to process applications without this evidence and if not received your application will be closed. This does not prevent you from making a further application when you have the evidence available.
