Parking dispensation waiver

When is a parking dispensation waiver issued?

A parking dispensation waiver is only issued when a vehicle has to be parked for longer than permitted or in a restricted area. Reasons could include emergency works, building works and essential renovations where it is necessary to have the vehicle nearby.  Parking dispensation waivers will not be issued for parking in disabled bays or on zigzags (including school Keep Clear markings), bus stops and taxi bays. 

How do I apply? 

Complete our parking dispensation waiver application form online. Once payment has been made a permit will be issued. Please note dispensation waivers are only received by the above link, and only issued by e-mail. Once the form has been completed and sent to Parking Services, an officer will call you to take payment by credit/debit card. (Mastercard/Visa/Switch/Maestro Delta/Solo).

We need one working day before the waiver has to start to deal with the request.

To apply for a parking waiver complete the online parking dispensation waiver application form.

You will need to give the following information:

  • Vehicle registration number
  • Company name and address
  • Location at which the work is taking place
  • Length of time the permit is required for
