War Memorial Park

War Memorial Park aviary in autumn

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

If you are planning a trip we look forward to seeing you. Please check we aren't full before travelling. We are delighted that so many people want to visit, but this means our car parks will close once capacity is reached - we will post updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Please remember 6 people or 2 households can now meet outdoors, social distancing still needs to be observed and face masks will be required in any indoor spaces.

Our outdoor gyms are open and so are play areas – if we get too busy we will shut for short periods to ensure everyone can enjoy their visit.

If you plan to visit remember it is card payments and take away only in our cafes. Some of our mobile units take cash.

Barbecues, camping stoves and open fires are not permitted in any of our parks until further notice.

If you visit the countryside during the coronavirus pandemic, you should follow this revised Countryside Code.
